August 28th
Here are some happy things from today:
- Last night my alarm didn't go off. I have three alarms set, none of them worked. Apparently a setting in my phone changed (by itself or I did it in my sleep?) so the app failed me. I'm hopeful for next week, but I have already set up back-up alarms on my phone in another app. I woke up one minute before my last alarm should have gone off. Somehow I showered and only punched in at work three minutes later than I normally do. Yay!
- When I left for work the night sky was gorgeous. Had I not been running late I would have paused for a moment. I have an app to help me identify constellations and I thought I could see Pleiades, but didn't take the time to check. Maybe tonight I'll get outside again.
- The world near me is starting to show signs of autumn. It is a season that I tend to enjoy. I have reached an age that I no longer want the seasons to rush by. The splash of the autumn to come is lovely.

Thank you for being here and being part of my daily happy things. Stay safe!
