Sleep

Here are some happy things from today:

  • Work is scheduling people in the Problem Solve area differently than they used to.  Basically, two people to start, three in the middle, one at the end of the shift.  That wouldn't have worked during the holidays. Today that seemed to work out really well.
  • When I got home, I tried to read The A.T. Guide but I was super tired.  I haven't been sleeping well this week.  Instead I went to the house and had dinner.  Then I fell asleep sitting on the couch.  It was a needed nap.  Hopefully I'll get some sleep to top it off.
  • After the nap and getting tonight's food for work ready, I read more.  I knew that starting hiking at the Amicalola Falls meant over eight miles before getting to the actual starting point of the Appalachian Trail. I didn't know that there are so many places that require using a bear canister for food.  I expected to hang it in most places.  The area that I knew we would need one, I heard they could be rented.  Looks like purchasing a canister is back on my list. Yay reading to be more prepared!
