Today, I got to play Keziah. Here are some happy Friday things:
- When I looked at my phone this morning to see what time it was, I had messages. Keziah woke up with laryngitis and had a pick up to do in Walpole, NH. She asked me to go instead of her with Bel and a friend. I rescheduled my vaccine appointment and got ready to go. The first stop was picking up a 20 foot uHaul. So far so good.
- Sitting in the middle of a uHaul is an exercise for my thighs. I didn't realize this until getting out. It was over an hour, mostly along winding roads. I decided that sitting squished in a vehicle was good exercise for the upcoming hike when we will be getting rides from the trail to a town.
- Our job for the next few hours was to mostly empty out the sewing and craft area of someone who was deceased. It was a lot of work. She had a lot of great fabrics and other craft supplies.
- It was snowing off and on while we packed the truck. Before leaving I asked if there were any sandwich shops around. The suggestion was a little nicer than a sandwich shop, The Hungry Diner. It was wonderful. We all really enjoyed our meals. If you are ever in the Walpole, NH area, consider checking it out. Most food there is locally sourced.
- The long drive home was longer due to road conditions but we made it back safely. We had help join us to unload the truck into a storage unit. It was a long and rewarding day.
