Happy March!

Happy Saturday!

• It was a busy day.  I started by bringing one of my looms to the studio and picking up the sewing machine to take with me.  I'm trying to get the few craft things I have at the house and leave them at the studio while I'm away.  Everything that I get out of the apartment is good.
• From the studio I headed to Keziah’s store. Keziah and I walked to a local place for some breakfast before the store opened.   On the way back, there were a few people in line, waiting outside her store that was to open at 10.  At 9:50 AM there were about 13 people waiting in line at DIY Craft & Thrift. At 9:55, at least 3 more had arrived.  Keziah opened the doors a few minutes early.  It was busy.  Her fill-a-bag for $10 sale seems to have gone quite well.  Many, many sales were made.  People were shopping with smiles on their faces.  It was lovely to see.  There are fewer items in the backroom now which was part of the goal.

• In the afternoon there was a get together with some friends so I wasn't able to stay at the store the whole day.  I really wanted to spend time with these people before I leave and I'm so happy that I had the opportunity.  There was a little bit of sewing and fabric cutting, but mostly just sitting and talking.  A good day.  
• The crescent moon was hanging low in the sky with Venus looking on.  It was very pretty.
