Happy National Walking Day! Here are some things that made me happy today:
- On and off throughout the day I puttered in my room organizing, putting things away, and getting rid of things. Since I will be gone until June, at least, I am finding places to put things that I normally keep out. An example is a bowl that I use for spare change and random things from my pockets. I've moved things around so there is space in a closet or on a shelf for that type of thing. I'm planning to throw a sheet over things so if I am gone for six months, things won't be completely covered in dust.
- It was a beautiful day. The temperatures were in the mid 40's. A little chilly if one is standing still, nice with a light jacket while walking. The air had the fresh smell of spring so I opened my bedroom window. It was lovely.
- Bel and I made it out for a walk. We drove to Muchyedo Banks. This is the third or fourth time, I think, that I have been there. According to the pictures in my memories today, the first time was April 2, 2022. There has been a bunch of erosion since the last time I was there. There were also branches down and a tree that blocked our path so we turned around. It is still a beautiful area with riverwash plains and sand banks.
