Housatonic

 June 3rd Tuesday

Today I am in Connecticut.  I found a parking spot and hiked a little more than four miles on the Appalachian Trail next to the Housatonic River.  Then I hiked the same thing back to my car.   

I could hear frogs near here.

Cedar waxwing.  This is a bird that the Merlin app has occasionally heard, and now I've seen it!

There is a covered bridge that I was going to drive to, park, and check out.  It allows cars to drive through one way at a time.  Instead, I drove through and took these pictures as I drove.
