Happy things for today:
- Despite the drizzle, I went outside and used the weedwacker for a little bit. When it ran out of cord and I couldn't get it open to refill, I started pulling weeds instead. Thankfully the drizzle had stopped. Pulling weeds seemed much more therapeutic than whacking them down with the equipment. It is possible I went a little too far. Pulling up grass around a retaining wall, I found rocks that I don't remember from when we moved in five years ago. I'm hoping that the grass and weeds I pulled out weren't holding things in place!

I'm not sure what this plant is. Maybe when it blooms I'll be able to figure it out. |
- After lunch I took a nice nap. There are things I probably should have been doing, but I've been tired lately and the nap felt good.
- Today was the last day of Concord Market Days. Gideon and I went and met up with the rest of the family. They have been busy working at it. We walked around and got fair food for dinner and dessert. Now I have had too much sugar! 😅

Thank you for being here and being part of my daily happy things. Stay safe!
Your mystery plant might be bee balm? (Tall garden phlox was my other guess but phlox leaves are smooth-edged and I think those look serrated?)
ReplyDeleteThe last few years there has been been balm in that area. I only remember one though. There are three or four now. This makes me very happy. 😄
