Hawk

July 17th

 Some happy things from today:

  • Somehow I managed to forget to publish Tuesday's blog.  It is up now.  It was all done, I don't know what distracted me so I forgot.  I'm glad I figured that out and posted it.
  • At work they assigned me to the Problem Solve area.  I was pleasantly surprised.  There were three of us there so I had time to work in the Hazardous Materials area.  When I left, everything was pretty much caught up.  It always feels good when that happens.
  • On the home front, I helped with gardening things again.  The plants were moved from where we were (a staging/re-potting area by the chickens) to the garden.  Tomorrow is when a coop is going to be delivered and so we made some room for it.  A red-tailed hawk decided to do a bit of a fly-over.  It just wanted to remind the chickens that they are prey.  I really hope all the measures we are taking to keep the chickens safe work.

  • The other day I took a picture of what I believe to be a bindweed flower.  I know they can be invasive, but I think they are pretty.  It probably shouldn't be near the bee balm though.

Thank you for being here and being part of my daily happy things. Stay safe!
