October 3rd
Here are some happy Friday things:
- Friday is when I try to spend some time with Bel. It was kind of a time for us putter today. We looked at a plumbing problem, checked out something for free nearby, got Keziah some sewing supplies from the studio so she could sew at work, and basically hung out together for a while. I was there when Bel found the second egg the chickens have laid. It was good.
- In the afternoon I made my way to Amy's house to set up the pavilion she wants to sell. It has a little bit of water damage from when the storage leaked on it. We took lots of pictures to help sell it. After that, we went to a birthday party for the Barony of Stonemarche. It has been 38 years since this SCA group became a Barony. It was nice to see the people who attended and have cake too! After all that, I still hadn't reached my step goal for the day. When we got back to Amy's, we took a walk. It was just what I needed to stay awake on the ride home tonight.
- For My Art for October, I did a few minutes of whittling and then some embroidery. Tomorrow I'm hoping to get back to Zentangle or something similar.
