October 18th
Here are my happy things from today:
- The stars were beautiful again tonight. And again, I was running late for work. I stopped and took some pictures. Staying still is hard, but I think this one came out okay. Orion's Belt and sword are between the trees just over the shed.
- Sunday I have the day off. My 50 hour work week is over. It ended up being 51 hours all together. I worked late one day and picked up a few minutes every day. This coming Monday, I picked up a short shift, so I'll be back to work soon. I'm really glad I made it through the week without going home early on any of the days. It was tempting.
- After I got home and had some food, I slept. Apparently I was tired. I didn't sleep for long. Well, I awoke a few hours later, and then slept again. Between what I remember and FitBit, I'm calculating that I got over seven hours of sleep. I went to the house and found people still awake. Corvidae was kind enough to make me an omelet since I had slept through dinner with the family.
- For My Art for October I decided to use the prompt generator. Since I didn't have some of the colored pencil colors suggested, I improvised. I'm enjoying exploring different artsy things this month. A person doesn't have to be good at something to enjoy it.
