Possibilities

Here are some happy things from today:

• During the holiday season, the company I work for hires more people (temporary) and adds an additional shift.  They look for volunteers to change shifts for the five or six weeks that this happens.  I didn't really want to change shifts.  However, they also look for people to take on interim higher level positions.  It has been suggested to me that I might be a good fit to be a Seasonal Safety Champion.  I'm going to think about this over the next few days.  If I get the opportunity I'll talk with HR.  I've already talked with one of the current safety people and the Learning Ambassador.  My next step is talking with my family and making the choice.  Either way, it feels pretty good to have this suggested to me.
• My Art for October was mostly finishing the paper maché guitar I've been crafting.  It will pass as an archery target guitar, but I'm hoping to add a little more to it tomorrow. 

• Bel, Corvidae, and I wrapped the chicken area mostly up with plastic.  Ideally the chickens will be fine in their little coop that they sleep in, but this will help keep the weather out and heat in better.
