Household Gathering

 November 9th

Here are some happy Sunday things:

  • Most of the morning I spent going back and forth between scraping the silicone caulk of the shower and recovering from being down on the floor while scraping the silicone caulk.  Progress was made with silicone caulk removal.
  • Later in the afternoon I headed off to Amy’s for a get together of our SCA household.  As I prepared to leave, I went to the main house to let them know I was going.  A friend was helping Zed pack the games in the dining room.  I looked up, the box with the puzzle I was working on was gone and the rest of it was wrapped in the felt partially done on top of the bookcase.  This couldn’t happen.  I asked for the puzzle box back saying that they needed to be packed in the same box and the rolled felt part wouldn’t fit in the box that was being packed.  I would find another spot to pack these and headed out the door.  Then it occurred to me that I could just bring them to Amy’s and the group of us could try to finish it, and we did.  Amy was great and changed where some things were going and we rolled out the puzzle on the table.  Some people sat and helped, some people did their own thing as we just visited with each other.  Some of the things we talked about were the SCA, hiking, moving, and crafts.  The puzzle was completed, we rejoiced, and I pulled it apart and boxed it back up.  The puzzle will be given to my friend’s mom for her to do.  I have downsized by one puzzle today while visiting with friends.  It was great.

  • The couple we asked into the household last month were able to come to the gathering and they said yes to joining.  Yay!
  • When everyone left, Amy and I headed out into the drizzle for an evening walk.  We both needed over 6000 steps to make our goals for the day and we did.
  • Sunday's GratitangleZ--

## 150 words were written on the muffin story.  The total is 1894 words.
