Happy Monday things:
- One of the nice things about snow is seeing footprints (picture follows). After talking with Bel and Corvidae to help me identify them, it was probably a cat. Yesterday I packed my book on wildlife tracking. Oh, well.
- I've been trying to make a Ranger Bead Pace Counter for a friend. The knot (double snake knot or Celtic button knot) proved harder for me to get the hang of than I hoped. At this point I've done a couple and I hope I'm getting the hang of it. It is a pretty cool looking knot! They need to be tightened more and the ends cut and sealed still. I'm just happy I seem to have made it work.
