Here are some happy Monday things:
- This morning I had two dental appointments. I started with getting my teeth cleaned and ended the trip by getting a temporary crown. The experience doesn't make me happy, putting it behind me does. Well, partially behind me. I go back in two weeks for the permanent crown.
- After doing an errand with Keziah, I met up with Stephanie at REI. We wandered around a lot. I got a few things I needed, like the Bear Vault 475. REI has their own bear canister model out this year but it is heavier than the one I got. Now our food can be safe while we hike. I may need to get another, but this will get us started.
- Stephanie and I took a walk along the Merrimack River after that. I started by falling into the snowbank. The snow is high when breaking through. Luckily only a small portion hadn't been used since the last storm. It was an easier walk where others had stamped down the snow. It was a pretty little walk. I hope to do it again in a different season.
- In the back yard I found an interesting little ice formation. I assume it formed on a vehicle.
- It is easier to see with my leg behind it, but I like the other view better.
