Crafty

 Some happy things from today:

• Here we are in the beginning of April and I started doing my taxes this morning.  This isn't late for me, I still have a few days before I want them done.  If I wasn't leaving for Georgia next week I'd still have two entire weeks.  The process has begun and I believe I have all my paperwork together.  It's fine.  
• My friend that was my protege and I hung out today.  We ended up walking from the studio to DIY Craft & Thrift (stopping for ice cream on the way), and helping out there.  It would seem that there are yarn gremlins running zigzag with the smaller balls of yarn.  We sat, talked, and detangled.  We only had a little bit of time, but it is much better.  DIY Craft & Thrift runs mostly on volunteers.  They have been so busy that they don't have enough time to spend reorganizing the messes people make.

So. Much. Yarn.

Still a mess, but less of a mess.

• Friday night means Craft Night.  It is my last Friday in the area for a while so I went.  Visiting with friends is always nice.  I also brought the whipcord I have been trying to do.  While cleaning my room I found the whipcord stuff, forgot where it was, and found it again, at least twice.  It isn't great, but I got about three feet of cord whipped.  Okay, I don't know how to properly say that last sentence, but I did crafty stuff and it was good.
