Close that Ear!

Here are some happy things and fragments from today:

• New phones take up too much time.  But my selfie camera isn't blurry anymore!

• My hair is getting longer.  I'm still not used to seeing myself in the mirror.  I’m not sure what will happen with my hair in the future.  Going from hair that is down to my thighs versus half an inch is weird.  
• The following made me laugh and I'm going to try to convey it so you, dear reader, laugh too.  One of the things that has to happen when getting a new phone is that accounts that were once automatically signed into, need to be signed into again. Passwords are forgotten.  Which email address that was used to set up an account is also forgotten.  Anyhow, in comparing the old phone calendar with the new phone there was a lot missing.  I figured out how to add them all in.  The calendar appears very full now.  I noticed an entry, “Close ear”, it said followed by “thlink”.  Well, what is a thlink, and how does one close an ear?  How did spellcheck miss thlink?  I clicked on this scheduled item to see, “Close earthlink”, and laughed.  I've had an email account for twenty some-odd years with Earthlink that I need to close.  This reminder really had me thlinking though!  
• My hope was to be ready to leave and be hiking somewhere by tomorrow or Thursday.  I will not be ready to leave tomorrow.  I’ve done more research and planning, but I’m not there yet.
