May 13th- Tuesday
Since it is raining in PA and NJ for the next few days I decided to go elsewhere. Driving has become weary however and I keep pulling over to nap. Which would be fine if I was able to nap. My blister is appreciating the rest from walking though.
This morning before leaving the hotel I tried to get a picture of a bird. After blowing up the picture and taking a screenshot of that, and researching online, I think it might be a killdeer. It was moving a bunch so I didn't try zooming in with my phone.

At some point today I stopped using the GPS navigation on my phone to get me where I want to go. I knew I would want food soon and decided that reading signs would work. The exit I took sent me to Enola, PA. Did you know that Enola is -alone- spelled backwards? It wasn't anything I had thought about until I watched Enola Holmes. Anyhow, I'm out here alone and I have some anxiety about doing some things by myself. This town seemed like an appropriate stop. Navigation went back on after food.
Breakfast for dinner is becoming a trend when I am in a town and decide to eat something other than Ramen or mashed potatoes. Squeaky Rail Diner is the place that caught my eye as I entered Enola. Since I noticed it as I drove by, I got to research the menu and reviews from my parked car in the plaza just after it. This is the second diner by myself this trip and I'm curious why I'm placed in a booth or table for four instead of the counter area. They weren't busy so I didn't feel bad about using the space. I figured it would be offered though. I ordered too much, but it was really good. It was basically cherry pie filling rolled into pancakes. The waitress couldn't remember if I wanted whipped cream or not so she brought over the can. I let her pile it on. I was only able to eat two of the three pancakes.
