Stairs

 June 10th

Now that I have painted the area where the ladder rests, I found stairs to put there!  They were free on Facebook Marketplace.  Bel and I just had to drive by and put them into the van.  Why do I want stairs?  So that the ladder can go back to the garage, of course!  The ladder (soon the stairs, I hope) allows for access to the attic and storage area over my closet.  The stairs seem to just need a little paint and one step could use some wood glue.  It is one more thing for me to do, but I'll be happy to remove the ladder.  

They aren't pretty, yet.

Bel and I also went to a friend's house to get sheep manure for the garden.  While I was still dirty from that, I planted some peonies that I bought on clearance the other day.  It has been threatening rain most of the day with occasional drops coming down or I might have done more outside. 

Instead,  I started going through a couple of boxes.  I'm trying to get rid of things but it's hard sometimes.  One of the boxes was mostly books, so that will hopefully have a place to go when the rest of the things are gone.  Two of the boxes I looked at I think belong to Keziah, or are for her store.  Yay, downsizing and organization!
