Midnight Madness

 August 6th

Here are some happy things from today:

  • As Pennsic gets closer to ending, my mind starts to consider what can be done to make things better.  This morning there were conversations about that.  Occasionally I took some notes.  It was a good, productive morning.  One of the ideas I tried to implement today by separating part of the common tent with a cotton tapestry I picked up.  Things like tools and boxes from the pavilion are slightly hidden behind the fabric.  It helps it seem a little neater.
  • After lunch I went to the archery range.  Other than forgetting sunscreen, I shot alright.  I think my total score for today was about 128 with 90 arrows.  It took me a while to find the target on the clout range.  The target is 100 yards away.  I'm pleased with my results.
Advancing man.

Friend/Foe target.

Clout, Titan.

  • After a lovely dinner a bunch of us went out to do some shopping.  Wednesday night is Midnight Madness when the shops are allowed to stay open until midnight.  Other than many people and busy shops there were also performers entertaining everyone.

  • I stayed awake late into the night wandering around with friends.
Here are some other pictures from today:

Bird.

Dragonfly.

A bindweed.

Maybe honeysuckle.

Chickens...

Me, ignore the shoes.

Thank you for being here and being part of my daily happy things. Stay safe!
