Happy Birthday to Zed! Here are things I am happy about today:
- Bel, Corvidae, and I went on a little adventure. Our first destination was Madison Boulder Natural Area. This has a short hike to a huge boulder that traveled to this location during the last ice age. It is apparently the largest known glacial erratic boulder in North America.

- After some map searching of the local area Bel then found the Redstone Quarry Trails. We got to drive through a covered bridge to get there. Thanks to Bel for the covered bridge pictures.
- The Redstone Quarry Trail brought us to an abandoned quarry complete with rusty machinery and crumbling buildings. Corvidae couldn't hike as far as we did and stayed near the boiler area to draw. Bel and I explored about two miles of the trails. This was only a small portion.
- When we got home, a friend came by and played Cribbage with Gideon and I. We had some good fun, but maybe stayed up a little late.
