Open House

 September 10th

Here are some happy things from today:

• Working an extra day this week threw me off.  Today is only Wednesday, I have another work day to go.  It was a good work day.  Time went by, but I didn't lose track of time, so that was good.  Sometimes I lose track of time and I'm suddenly rushed to finish.  Any rushing at work was not because I lost track of time.
• At home I relaxed.  The little bit of walking around the yard brought me to the chickens.  They are bigger than last I checked on them.  The roosters crow louder too!

• After a short nap I went to an Open House at Gideon's school.  Gideon gave us a tour around the building and we met some of his teachers.  He is still very excited for most of his classes.  That is very good to see.  One of his teachers had what I believe to be a four-ish foot long slide rule attached to the wall.  I should have asked whether it worked or not.  It looked kind of old, so it might be best not to slide it any more.
