October 11th
My happy things for this lovely day at Harper's Retreat:
- That other people seem to enjoy cooking more than I do is a wondrous thing for me. It makes me happy.
- In the morning I went to the archery range, helped a tiny bit with set up, and shot some arrows at the practice targets. There was also a person I know who was at their first event and I helped them learn some of how we shoot archery and they were able to practice some too.

- Around lunch time, some friends got married. It was a beautiful service by the lake. They both looked fabulous in garb mostly made by Keziah.
- The archery tournament was next on my list to do. The tournament was so much fun! There were six targets, or groups of targets, each themed around a different Baron of Stonemarche. There were two dice. Each side of one die had the name of one of the six barons. The other had three sides with how many seconds a timed round would last and three sides with the amount of arrows to shoot. So we rolled the dice to determine which set of targets and how we would shoot at it. It was so much fun! I didn't win, but I did well.
- My Art for October was done rather hastily today. I hope to have more time tomorrow.
