November 3rd
Here are some happy things from today:
- While frost still whitened the earth I went out and pulled weeds from the triangle part of the driveway. I didn't go deep, I just pulled. I left leaf litter behind. It took longer for my hands to warm back up than the amount of time that I was out there. I'm happy I went out and did that, but I'm not sure I will go out so early again.

- Bel and I spent much of the morning together just working on different check lists of things to do. They helped me move things around some in the apartment living room, I helped them look for paperwork. Things were accomplished and it is always good to spend time with them.
- Zed hired some people to clean up the yard by the house and then paint the house (or siding? I don't know). They pulled up the trees that we have been cutting down that keep coming back. The trees were too close to the house and foundation so I'm glad they are gone.
- After lunch I met my friends, Amy and Stephanie, at the park for a nice walk. I'm really glad that we get to do this as much as we do. I'm also thankful that I have so many friends. There is still some color on some of the trees around the pond making the scenery lovely too.
