November 17th
Here are some happy Monday things:
- Keziah and I went to the Surplus Store in Concord today. It has been closed for about two months. Not much has changed. We didn't go looking for anything in particular. I spent an entire dollar on a paracord bracelet that I intend to take apart and use the cord for something else. We got to spend some good mother-daughter time together, and that was nice.
- My friend Amy and I walked at the Mall today. The thermometer said that it was 35 degrees out, but the wind chill brought it down to the mid twenties. We were more comfortable inside than we would have been outside. It was a nice walk because the company was good.
- With the colder weather, I had some tea this morning. I really like the quote from the teabag.
- The partly cloudy skies have been pretty lately. The cold air can change which types of clouds form. I don't like being icy cold, but I love the looks of some of those icy clouds.
GratitangleZ today is Cadent.
