Robotics

 November 8th

Here are some happy things:

  • The apartment shower overhaul has begun!  After scraping some of the old silicone off I decided that there had to be another way.  The answer is chemicals.  Off and on during the day I have sprayed, scraped, and wiped off the old silicone and caulking material.  Progress was made but I'm too tired to finish it tonight.
  • Gideon is part of a Robotics team at his school.  Today they competed in town so it was easier for me to go and watch.  This was the first time I've seen a Robotics competition.  I didn't stay for the entire program, but what I saw was fun and interesting.

  • Around lunch time a friend came by to visit.  We went to lunch and talked about a bunch of things.  One of those things is them being my protégé.  In the next few months I will be taking on two people as protégé.  I'm excited and I'm trying to plan on ways to help them on their path in the SCA.
  • We also walked around the yard while we talked.  My lost arrow has been found!  I'm so happy that it was found.  It is a little worse for wear, but I'm glad it's back.

  • GratitangleZ for today:

  • I've been working on and off on doing things to bring together the Zentangles I did in October.  Below is my end result.

Thank you for being here and being part of my daily happy things. Stay safe!

  1. Love your Inktober compilation! One of things I enjoy about Zentangle (aside from how it relaxes my mind) is seeing all the different and creative ways in which everyone interprets the same patterns.

  2. I have been waiting to see how you would connect all your zentangles and it was worth the wait. I love how your use of color makes the black and white zentangles pop. Judy

    1. Thank you both for the comments! Judy, I'm glad you said that the Zentangles pop, I've been looking at it so much I wasn't sure any more. That is what I was hoping for.
