August 4th
Here are some happy things from today:
- There were classes I could have gone to today, but I didn't. The one I wanted to go to the most started at 7 AM and was about a mile away and I just couldn't convince myself to wake up. Instead, once I woke up, I hung out at camp and then went shopping with Stephanie. I left my bow with a merchant to do a minor upkeep repair and they will also be making me a new bow string. I also had a belt made for me. I only put two holes in it so far. The maker would have done it but I was too lazy to take off the belt I had on. 😂

- Stephanie and I also went out for ice cream. Instead of the normal root beer float that I usually get, I tried what they called a Dragon Tear float. It was ginger ale with lemon sorbet and was really good. While we sat and ate, I watched the bees doing their jobs.
- My former protégé is staying in a different campsite. I went and visited with her for quite a while today. It was a good visit.
- Stephanie and I also investigated a neighboring campers water filtration system. I'm trying to gather information and make changes for next year.

Thank you for being here and being part of my daily happy things. Stay safe!
